I had a pleasure to work with Anna Staszewska (the model in the pictures below) and Petit Piaf (a great make up artist) during the shoot in Studio Unique. It was a great experience to work with professionals, yet I'm not happy with the pictures I have taken, but finally decided to publish them anyway – for the purpose of documentation and maybe to receive tips from more experienced photographers.
The first picture was taken using the system lamp. The legs are out of focus, not a good thing, really. The frame is not perfect either – too little space on the bottom, too much above the model.
The next two pictures were taken in the natural light and the ISO was high, so the grain is visible, but that is not such a bad thing as far as I am concerned. If I had the opportunity to take the pictures one more time I would ask the model to turn her face towards the window, so that the shades would be less dramatic. There is also a lot to learn about rendering. And about other things as well.
