Lazy Sunday: Prague Edition

Every summer I try to travel somewhere and just totally relax. It can be only for a weekend, it doesn't have to be very far. But it has to be comfortable. This way I can create a memory that can feed me for months. This is the case with my trip to Prague. I only need to recall: the perfect weather, so sunny that one can't really believe it's September; gorgeous apartment with balcony by the bedroom and the sun waking me gently up in the morning; slow exploration of the Karlin district; long relaxing hours in the swimming pool – and just thinking about it makes me feel good.

Inspirational Monday

This picture from The Sartorialist is my strongest inspiration now. It's not big news that Scott Schuman is a great photographer, but here I can really see what he means when he says that he looks for that beam of light. The picture very subtle, not showy at all, almost intimate. Like one of those moments when you just forget about how busy you are and stop to admire something small: how sun comes through the autumn leaves or how the wind moves the laundry on the balcony.

Temat Rzeka

Mimo spadających liści nie sposób zapomnieć o lecie. Znów dwadzieścia stopni na termometrze, można otworzyć balkon i pozwolić kotom wylegiwać się w słońcu. Tylko to słońce jest już takie inne: grzeje mniej, ale w barwie jest cieplejsze. Przypomina wieczór pod Tematem Rzeką (ach, jak ja zazdroszczę Warszawie tych skrawków plaży!).

Suddenly on the street

On Sunday I've been taking pictures of beautiful and talented Gosia. We aimed for this almost cliché fashion shoot with model crossing the street when this gang appeared ready to have their picture taken. We didn't even talk. They just stopped, I snapped the picture and they continued the walk. How surreal.
