Cinnamon rolls

When it comes to food photography, I've been strongly influenced by Princess Tofu and her low key pictures. I think it works particularly well with things like bread, cakes and other baked goods.

This is a modified version of gingerbread rolls. I wanted them in a cinnamon flavor, so I changed the allspice for more cinnamon and voila.

Anna Maria #2

There is a brilliant post by Agnieszka Rzymek that serves as a great proof that it's good to revisit old pictures. Almost a year ago I shoot Anna Maria. It took me a while to render and publish them because I was quite unsatisfied with my performance. (Anna Maria was great as always. She also has her own jewelry line!) But today I looked at those pictures once again and I finally started to appreciate the strong light and shadow play. Here you can see the previous post with pictures form the same session.
